ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL

With the change in schedule one of the blessings will be a chance for adults to go to Sunday School to continue in our Christian education. So beginning on September 13th at 9:30am, there will be Two Sunday School classes for Adults to be involved with at TTUMC. The classes will meet in the Library and the Pastor’s Office.

The “Good Book” This class will be looking at the “Good Book” using a variety of resources especially the Bible, and sometimes it will use a contemporary book to allow for great discussion. This Fall, the book used will be “The Shack” by William P. Young. So if you have read that book and want to discuss it with fellow Christians, come to this study. Bud Stimmel is coordinating this class.

The “Video” Class: This class will use short term video study materials to look at issues of our day. To begin, we will use a 6 week study called: The Jesus I Never Knew: Six Sessions on the Life of Christ by Philip Yancey. These sessions allow one to look afresh at Jesus radical claims, his challenging teachings, and his effect on us. The first 6 week class will be led by Pastor Dale Reese.

GOD ABOUTS
This is designed as a social group meeting for breakfast, brunch or lunch once a month. Other activities this group has attended include: Dinner Theaters, the Home Show and Game Nights.

The God-Abouts provide a place for people to talk, someone to confide in, while developing friendships and support in a Christian social atmosphere.

ONE-DERFULS

Please call Marge Barnett at 412-242-4843 or Dick Sheret at  412-793-1552 to make your reservation.

WOMEN OF FAITH

Begun as women's response to the very successful and inspirational "Promise Keepers", "Women of Faith" attracted thousands of women to two-day meetings filled with love, joy, faith and spirituality.

Several of the women from Trinity Tower Church, having attended the "Women of Faith" conference in Pittsburgh, joined together to form a local group for Bible Study, prayer, and fellowship.

These women meet every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM. New members are always welcome.
