Our Summer Worship concludes on September 5 with the 9:00am New Life Service and 10:30am Celebration Worship. On September 12 our church will return to regular Sunday Morning Worship Schedule.

DISCOVERING GOD'S VISION FOR YOUR LIFE: You and Your Spiritual Gifts
Beginning Monday, September 13, Jeanette Matthews will facilitate this eight-week class that can help individuals discover, learn about, and use their spiritual gifts. Participants will answer questions to help ascertain their spiritual gifts. We will then interpret the test to discover each person's types o gifts and the ways in which these gifts can work together with others to strengthen and build God's church. Classes will meet 7:00-8:30pm in the library. Sign up is on the bulletin board in the Narthex.

TRINITY TOWER CROSS DEDICATION SUNDAY Over 50 years ago, several families with a love for Christ had a vision to establish this church known now as Trinity Tower United Methodist Church. At first, it was Penn Hills Methodist Church, but that was too limiting since we serve more than just the Penn Hills community. So the church name was changed to a name befitting the huge Trinity Tower Cross which was on the building. Unfortunately, due to structural factors that cross had to come down. It has now been raised again on a beautiful new structure beside the church.
So it is fitting that on September 19, 2010, when we celebrate the founding of our church, we will dedicate the Trinity Tower Cross Pavilion. Our District Superintendent, the Reverend Doctor Donald Scandrol, will be here to preach at both Sunday morning worship services. The 8:30am New Life worship will be held outside at the pavilion, weather permitting. A Dedication Service will then follow at 9:30am at the structure. (If weather is poor as occurred at the Groundbreaking Service, we will meet in the Narthex, and go to the structure with umbrellas for the prayer of dedication.)
Sunday School classes will follow the Dedication Service. At 10:30am, the Celebration traditional service will be held in our sanctuary.
